Create awareness and inform Greek citizens of the potential, impact and benefits of the Community Support Framework to the Greek Economy

Create acceptance by the public opinion

Invite and initiate participation in the implementation of CSF II programmes

Design and implementation of an integrated Communication Strategy for all sectors of CSF II, under the motive «Learn what it means - Learn what is happening»

Awareness creation for the extent and implications of CSF II for the development of Greece

Promotion of the role of the European Union in the development efforts at national level

The action plan that was developed and implemented comprised of:

o 6 three-minute infomercials (6-7/97)
o 2 three-minute infomercials (6-7/98)
o 2 spots of 25-second duration
o 6 press advertisements
o 6 radio advertisements
o 2 posters
o a Press conference at the beginning of the Campaign
o 2 information leaflets
o Creation of a kiosk for the 62nd International Exposition of Thessaloniki (9/97)
o Creation of a special information centre of 500 sm in Zappeion Megaro (7/98-4/99)
o Creation of a mobile information unit
o Organisation of 5 round table discussions on television for the Day of Europe (9/5/97)
